PAST & PRESENT PROJECTS
Car Count Photography
We are a group of teenagers who share a passion for photography and cars. We want to share our passion with the car community. We felt as if the car community wasn't shared enough and we wanted to make it more well known.
Wax Pax
A revolutionary idea for the surf community preventing surfers from having to deal with wastage and also getting sand throughout their surfboard wax. Every time surfers use up a packet of wax they have to throw out the wastage which goes against many surfers' opinions and environmentally aware. Also when surfers wax their board, a big problem they experience is getting sand in the wax which is extremely hard to remove. Wax Pax is a twist-up mechanism that is safe from the sand. The majority of the wax has been protected and in the unlikely event that you do get sand on it, you can simply slice off the top and twist out more wax, good as new.
Mindful Moments
create pre-packaged brownie ingredients sold in glass jars which include our social media so that customers can watch and make them with us.
Why it's great for the community:
- creates more social interactions
- gets everyone up and moving
- creates small wins for everyone
- great conversation starter

Felicity and Marizel have an investor who is prepared to support this project and is encouraging the girls to expand their thinking and the very real possibilities. Another investor (and business coach) has direct contact with a shipping container company and is facilitating engagement with the University of the Sunshine Coast’s engineering faculty. Alive Media
For many years, Dylan has had an interest in photography and videography. The DeLorean Project gave Dylan the confidence boost and opportunity for him to start Alive Media. With the help of a mentor, Dylan volunteered his services for a local cafe and created a promotional video to further his skills and experience. For a quiet and unassuming young man, Dylan’s skills and determination will bring to life media solutions for his clients.
DeLorean Coffee Van
Each year, a team of students apply to run the DeLorean coffee van. The wonderfully supportive Parents & Friends committee of the college purchased and gifted a coffee van to The DeLorean Project in 2016. This has been a very hands-on project for the teams as the learning is real (and so is the failure!). Student teams are charged with operating the van, including managing the inventory, finances, promotion, logistics, safety and of course making the coffee. One of the greatest opportunities that arise for each of the teams so far is the development of the skills in communication and team dynamics - lessons that are invaluable to our young people at this age and stage in their lives.
Go Tell Media
Go Tell Media is a promotional content business dedicated to creating high-quality photo and video content for businesses, organisations, artists, and personal projects. Go Tell Media is owned and run by Jonty Brown, a young yet experienced entrepreneur with a fresh approach to promotional content without compromising professionalism. Jonty was always a young man with a mission! His skills in digital media surfaced early on in high school and he soon became the ‘go to’ student for the media jobs. The DeLorean Project gave Jonty the opportunity to invest his time into setting up Go Tell Media and expand his network and opportunities.
