Bruce Williams

Bruce is our personality and teams expert consultant. His work with the DeLorean facilitators and student teams over the last 5 years has been invaluable. Bruce has coached many of our students in understanding themselves, their team and the art of conflict resolution. With self-awareness and social awareness being two of our pillars and embedded in all that we do in DeLorean, Bruce is a key mentor of the program.

Robyn Pullman

One of the Sunshine Coast’s true gems in the startup world, Robyn is an expert in communication and pitching. Robyn has coached past and present students to build their confidence and stand up and pitch their passion and their project. The influence that Robyn has, and her standards of excellence, make a lasting impression on our young people and help them to develop essential skills for their futures.

Claire Smith

Once a rock star, now one of our superstars! Claire is a passionate supporter of the project and brings valuable knowledge and experience, as well as a dynamic personality to empower our students. Claire has personally invested and backed several students in their ventures. Not one to sit around and wait for tomorrow, Claire has helped students make the most of today!

Tim McGee

As an Industry Advancement Lead for the Sunshine Coast Council, Tim’s representation and support of the program is greatly appreciated. He has created a pathway for our students to authentically connect and engage with the wider community as they seek to serve and address real problems that exist in our region. We are genuinely grateful for the partnership and the support of the Sunshine Coast Council.

Helen Andrew

Living in the start-up experience, Helen is a great source of knowledge and advice for students in their projects. Helen sees the huge potential in our young people and invests her time in helping them to make the most of the opportunities that the program offers.

Paul Prass

Paul describes himself as ‘an oil and gas guy’ previously working for major companies such as Shell and Caltex. Paul’s willingness to support the program and mentor students is invaluable. Paul is investing a large proportion of his time into coaching one our 2019 startups The Space Ship and is leading the team toward a successful delivery of a product later in the year.

Ryan Hollis

Ryan, as an advocate for sustainability, plays an important role as a mentor in the program and opens up the students’ eyes and minds to endless possibilities that they would not have realised on their own. What Ryan brings to various teams in the innovation and sustainability space is of incredible value.

Asrar Ismail

Asrar is well-versed in business analysis, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology and having sat on our Shark Tank panels, she is a ‘mean and keen’ shark and challenges students to stretch and grow. She is passionate about helping our young people realise their potential today!

Renee Coman

Renee has been an incredible supporter of the program since 2017 through her work with the University Sunshine Coast Innovation Centre. Renee is a key connector for many of our mentors and has enabled opportunities that we would not otherwise have been given. Renee is an idea’s woman, and that alone is a great example to our students of what you can achieve by thinking outside the box.

Angus Warmbath

Angus’s business slogan, ‘Beecoz People Matter’, says it all. A connection made through the Sunshine Coast Social Enterprise Network, Angus was keen to get involved in the program…beecoz, ‘young’ people matter! Angus believes ‘that if you choose a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life’ and our young people need to hear this message and have the courage to follow their passions.

Nicole Dyson

As a former high school teacher, and now founder of Future Anything, Nicole subscribes to the philosophy and importance of an entrepreneurial program such as the DeLorean Project. Nicole has an amazing way of encouraging and motivating young people to develop much needed skills for an unknown future. As one who is in the same game of redefining how education should look in the 21st Century, Nicole is a great supporter for all in the program,

Raphael McGowan

Raph has walked the startup journey and knows the hard work involved in turning an idea into a reality. Raph is the founder of Bakslap, a tool that he has created to help people apply sunscreen to parts of the their backs that are hard to reach. His passion and drive came from losing his beloved sister to melanoma several years ago. Raph is an excellent example to our young people of how you can combine a social cause, a sustainable business and give back to society in a way that genuinely makes a difference!

Chris Wands

Chris gave up a high-earning ‘professional’ job to co-found a company that manufactures an innovative range of camping crockery. Having walked the startup journey, Chris can attest to the trials and tribulations like no other and share ideas and encouragement for the students as they walk the same walk.

Scott Miller

Scott is a true inspiration to our young people. There are different ways to achieve your purpose and create your future, and for Scott Miller, it was not undertaking further study or employment, it was starting his own company. Scott is the definition of a successful young entrepreneur, turning opportunity and an idea into reality and for the benefit of young people.

Craig Josic (CJ)

CJ has been instrumental in the Sunshine Coast Entrepreneurial scene bringing about an ecosystem of like-minded people through a social network called Silicon Coast. Since his involvement in the DeLorean Project in 2019, through CJ’s contacts and network, he has enabled our DeLorean network to further grow and develop, which in turn directly benefits our young people and their futures.

Deidre Marczynski

Combine marketing, technology, education and innovation and you can understand why Deidre is a supporter of the DeLorean program. Between her roles at The Peregian Digital Hub and Create Noosa, and a focus on skills and careers of the future, Deidre’s involvement in the program adds network support value for our students who are interested in the digital and creative space.
