With bated breath, the curious Year 10’s waited to enter L8. Unsure of what to expect, they’d been informed that it would be 21st-century-ready, engaging and like nothing they’d experienced before. Separated into alphabetically determined groups, students were interviewed on video by the Facilitators regarding their expectations. Excited, confused but really enthusiastic was the consensus.

By the end of Day 1, they’d experienced collaborative learning structures, straw towers worth thousands of dollars and an expectation that one day soon, they’d understand what the DeLorean Project was all about. Their bewilderment was encouraging – it meant they wanted to know more. The most exciting thing about where the DeLorean will go, is that it is up to the students to determine. Where they’re going, they won’t need roads!
